The impact of natural disasters on human life was blatantly demonstrated through media reports of recent events such as the Ache tsunami in 2004, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 and Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami in 2010-2011.
